I had never heard of Sunny Isles, Florida so I was very skeptical when my girlfriend suggested that we take holiday there. She said that it was the perfect holiday spot because it was moderately priced and looked great when she looked it up online. Stating that it was not a long drive from Miami was how she convinced me to go. Well, Sunny Isles was a big beach town. Since we traveled with both families we rented a vacation home on the beach which did prove to be very cheap. There we spent a lot of time on the beach. The beach was nice and had lots to do. My brothers and I entered a Volleyball tournament where we lost to the natives. There were all sorts of food at the beach and places to rent Kayaks to go the water. My surfing experience was fun but I will never put myself in a position where I fall in the water that many times again. Besides the beach there was not much to do in Sunny Isles so we rented a car and drove towards Miami. Of course we did many nights in Miami but we spent our days at the Museums and the student film centers. It was interesting to see students create and direct their own productions. Sunny Isles was a nice beach town and close to other towns to do other things. |
