I went to Sitges with my friends last year and we had an absolutely fantastic time, there was a wonderful carnival atmosphere and everyone was friendly. Although my friends and I had a great time In Sitges I don’t think it’s somewhere my husband and I would go for a holiday as he would probably not enjoy the buzzing atmosphere and he doesn’t like big crowds. I would definitely go back there if I could coordinate a suitable time with all my mates.Sitges, Costa Brava, Spain Rating: 8/10

Sitges is an excellent resort for a holiday with good weather pretty much all year round it doesn't really make a difference when you visit. If you visit during the summer months you might find it a bit overwhelming as it can get very crowded. De la Ribera beach is nice clean beach that has become very popular amongst the tourists. Apart from the beach life Sitges offers a rich history which can be explored through visiting the buildings and museums. Make sure you visit Sin Street once the sun goes down as that's where all the clubs and bars are. Sitges also has an active gay community which has boosted tourism over the last few years. |
