Silves is a decent enough place and there are nice pleasant beaches where I spent a lot of my time but I wasn’t overly impressed with the resort. I don’t know why the place just didn’t have the same vibrant and holiday atmosphere. All in all it was an okay place where the food was decent and the beach was nice but it just lacked that spark that you want form a holiday. On our visit to Silves we discovered that it is not only the fantastic beach that attracts people to the wonderful destination. If you travel further into Silves you find there is some great scenery to admire. There are wonderful rolling hills surrounding the area and the orange trees make the views particularly pleasing. Make sure you don?t just stay out on the beach as you can do that anywhere venture into the town further and discover the real Portugal. |
