Sao Vicente is pretty resort. I loved the Volcanic Caves and the Capela de San Roque. The holiday wasn't a sunbathing holiday but that never bothered me one bit, I adore beautiful scenery and exploring new things, you can't do that while sitting by the pool... We went on a day trip to the Sao Vicente Volcanically formed caves, we walked through the cave and saw the lava channels, it was a great experience. In the village you can enjoy rock cakes and hot wines, this was new to me and I would definitely recommend it to others. |
