My family and I went to Roquetas de Mar for the first time last year. Our hotel was on the beachfront with a beautiful sea view from our hotel room. The food was superb with no complaints whatsoever. The shops and bars were located nearby. The weather was lovely. We visited the market and the shopping mall. We even took a ride on the train which took you round the resort. That was very interesting seeing all the locals houses and how different they were. All in all we had such a good time and really enjoyed it we are thinking of going back to the same hotel again this year.Roquetas de Mar, Costa de Almeria, Spain Nice Holiday! Rating: 7/10

Me and my family went to Roquetas de Mar for the first time and we liked it, was not one of my best holidays but we can't complain either. The hotel was close to the beach the pool was a good size, the hotel room was clean and spacious and the staff we very helpful. There was a few things to get stuck into, plenty of kids activities so that’s good. Food is limited but very nice though. Weather was on and off, some days it was to hot and other days it was chilly, even though the sun was out but the sea breeze kept it cool. If you get bored of the beach then a trip to the Roquetas Museum will lift your mood... And a drink down Sandy's cocktail bar afterwards to chill you out, so it's not all bad.Roquetas de Mar, Costa de Almeria, Spain Rating: 7/10

Roquetas de Mar is a very good family holiday destination with lots of activities revolving around the family. There are some really clean and beautiful beaches which is what Roquetas de Mar is really all about. There are some good restaurants and a few bars but on the whole it is a quiet family oriented resort. |
