Took a ferry trip to Porto Santo (it's about 2hr 30min) - a divine little island which is definitely worth a visit. The island is only 14km long and 5km wide, and famous for its 9km of golden sand beach which is situated on the south of the island. Water sports here are outstanding; you’re spoilt for choice… there’s game fishing, diving, canoeing, sailing and much more. Nice trip but not much else to do if you don’t want to be on the beach! Porto Santo has an amazing beach and the hotel was top as well. The resort is very quiet and there is not many tourists to spoil everything. I enjoyed my time relaxing on the beach and taking in the scenery, and the sea is beautiful too, known for the best minerals in the world. In the town square there is a few restaurants, cosy bars and clubs for you to enjoy, especially after a long lazy day on the beach. Most things are cheap so there is nothing to worry bout when spending either... |
