I found everything that I could possibly need at Porto Cristo. The beach was lovely and clean and the views from the top of the cliff made my family gasp. From our hotel we were only a train ride away from a wide arrange of shops and restaurants. There were about 5 supermarkets that had just everything from perfume to candy. There were plenty pharmacies and souvenir shops available that hosted good prices. Porto Cristo was quite hilly and had slippery footpaths so I had to watch my step every step of the way. It was small and quiet with bars full of interesting people who were very excited to meet and speak with you. At night I would wander around the beach and stop in at a bar to have a drink and long conversations. There were plenty of places at which to fish because it is known as a fishing harbor. It was a very low key holiday but well worth what we spent there. Happy Holiday Hunthing! |
