Not your traditional Greek resort, but it does have a certain charm - there’s a Chinese restaurant, numerous English and Irish bars and the famous local bakery. Definitely one of the livelier resorts in the south of the island! If you want to get out & about the beautiful village of Lindos is a 10 min drive away, and if you’re not hiring a car there’s the hourly bus but this only runs to 7.30pm off season. I think I saw more British people in Pefkos than I have seen in my home town, the place was packed with people from the UK which is probably a good indication that it is a good holiday spot. As the sun sets you will see plenty of neon lights go on which means that its party time although, the lights do make the place seem a bit tacky but the music and people buzzing around the bars more than makes up for it. During the day make sure you rest up at the nice beach and improve your tan. |
