Majorca - Other, Majorca, Spain Reviews View Cheap Holidays To Majorca - OtherMajorca - Other, Majorca, Spain Very Over Rated! Rating: 7/10 Submitted by: Jodie Date of travel: 19/05/2007
Majorca is very over rated. It's not ever going to compare to Ibiza or Marbella but it does have some great places to party though. I normally go to Ibiza but I was told to try Majorca as they know how to throw a party but it does not compare one tiny bit. Nice resort though, more for the younger generation, families would feel left out as it's full of young kids drinking and shouting.Majorca - Other, Majorca, Spain Lots of Germans Rating: 7/10 Submitted by: Rupert Date of travel: 05/08/2007
We went to Majorca on our holiday abroad this year and we stayed at the resort of Arenal which I can tell you right now Areanl is not for families and it’s especially not for children. Arenal is for the younger crowd that loves to party hard into the early hours of the morning which is exactly what we did. We did find that there were a lot of Germans there, seems to be very popular with them. Majorca - Other, Majorca, Spain Beautiful place. Rating: 8/10 Submitted by: Spencer Date of travel: 10/05/2007
When I visited Porto Petro in Majorca I was over the moon as I heard it wasn't a nice area to visit but It was totally untrue. The hotel was a in a nice quiet location, but lively enough for a laugh, the beach was a 5 minute walk, and it was very well kept and cleaned every evening, and there was bars and restaurants to suit all kinds of people. The locals were very nice, the hotel staff was genuine and pleasant and the resort was just a happy place to relax and enjoy your self. Palma was just up the coast so if you fancied a night away from Porto Petro then you weren’t far away. I really enjoyed myself, the harbor was nice and the old villages in the centre were terrific, it wasn't a bad place at all. |
