Fun time hanging out with the locals. They were honest and friendly people who would talk to you in the shops, on the streets, in the clubs, and at the beach. Really laid back feel. Mouth watering dishes be them Greek or other land dishes (like hamburgers). Most of the Tavernas suggested that tourists try the Greek dishes before anything else. Once we did we were hooked to the Greek food. We tried to make them at home but it was not the same as it was in Greece. The beach had more stones than sand but it did not matter because it was not too hard on the feet. The sun and excellent waters made up for that anyway. Most of our time was spent in the actual village and that is where the fun and genuine Greek aspects lie. You should do the same. |
