Lagos, Algarve, Portugal Reviews View Cheap Holidays To LagosLagos, Algarve, Portugal mix of old and new Rating: 8/10 Submitted by: Paula Date of travel: 06/02/2007
This was my second visit to Lagos and once I got there again, there was no wondering why I was back. Very elegant and picturesque. The prettiest beaches and the nicest sand. The old town feel with new town pleasures was the perfect combination. The town was quiet but there was always something to do. There was traditional music but the clubs played new music too. Antique shops in the middle of new stores. The Marina with and old town feel. Wonderful.Lagos, Algarve, Portugal La La Lagos Rating: 7/10 Submitted by: Kent Date of travel: 30/08/2006
Lagos is a fabulous resort all the way around. Beaches were good as well as the food. We saw many cheap movies in the cinema, and they were the movies that were recently released. We tried to go to every restaurant and bar that we could but the resort was bigger than we thought. Everyday the streets and the parks were cleaned and swept. Everything was nice and tidy. At night the place was a party scene with much to do and dance for. Hotel was big and pretty and did not run up a large bill, even with room service. Great time, great experience, great fun.Lagos, Algarve, Portugal Lagos was a blast! Rating: 10/10 Submitted by: Cindy Date of travel: 21/07/2007
Lagos is now one of my favourite holiday destinations after my visit this year. The town of Lagos has got a wonderful blend of history, culture and modernisation. You can have an active holiday and travel around Lagos learning about the Portuguese town by visiting the churches and monasteries etc. There is food available of all types but I recommend you try the traditional Portuguese dishes. If you are more of the lazy type and just want to relax with a book on the beach and work on your tan than you can do that at one of the splendid beaches in Lagos which is what I mostly did. |
