Kokkini Hani is only a 15 minute drive from the airport which makes it the closest by far. Not only is it refreshing that after early morning traveling you can put your things down right away but it also had a beach right there. I took my wife there to celebrate our 1 year wedding anniversary and it was the perfect place to be. I was told that it was the quietist place on the island, which I wanted so that I could spend quiet time with her. It was our escape from it all. We ate at the restaurants on the shore looking at the sun as it set behind the water. We did not have to go outside of the Kokkini Hani resort for anything because there were shops of ceramics, fashion jewelry and authentic leather right there. That resort was our everything. For culture, we visited the ruined city walls and the Mororsini fountain. We danced to Greek music after Sunday brunch. I have never felt so relaxed and in touch with her. |
