Javea, Costa Blanca, Spain Reviews View Cheap Holidays To JaveaJavea, Costa Blanca, Spain Javea is a beautiful resort. Rating: 8/10 Submitted by: Judith Date of travel: 23/08/2006
Javea is a wonderful place, the scenery is breath taking and the greatest attraction was the Elephant Mountain with out a doubt. Have a few glasses of wine and see for your self! But you have to see it to believe it. In the morning I would pass through Javea and wander round and admire the whitewashed buildings with gothic features. The gothic Church of San Bartolome is a great attraction. The Parador de Javea hotel is where I stayed and the hotel is right on the beach, there is a wall that divides the hotel and the beach but once you step outside of the hotel the beach is right there and it was beautiful, crystal blue sea and soft white sand. There were hundreds of restaurants and bars along the strip, a selection of fish, Italian and takeaway restaurants. You can't beat the night life either, it give's Ibiza a run for its money. It was very good entertainment and great party atmosphere too.Javea, Costa Blanca, Spain Rating: 6/10 Submitted by: Simon Date of travel: 15/04/2001
We went to Javea around April time and it was very quiet , that was good in a way but boring in another way. I heard a rumor that there was a mountain in a shape of an Elephant so I had to have a look for my self and to be honest, when you stare at the feature for a long time it is actually an elephant and its trunk hanging into the sea. That was a nice attraction to see. The beaches were quiet. The sea was a nice deep blue colour, the hotel we stayed in was overlooking the sea and the view was amazing. We had a walk in the village and the streets were so narrow and there were little cafe's every where, the people were very friendly as well. I would go back in the peak season next time to get a feel of place with more tourists about. But I enjoyed my stay at Javea and would go again. |
