when i first arrived in Ibiza i thought to myself I cant belive im here im stayed at an appartment called es cana. It shocked me the place was amazing and out standing. It was a lovely and relaxing holiday . Sun baving everyday and just chilling out by the pool. every night we would go down by the bar have a few drinks and watch who ever was performing that night every night lived up by nights from how much outstanding people there was to make you feel like royalty. It was a 2 second walk acros the road from the beach and 2 seconds from the pool in the back. Every Single person was nice there and had lovely greetings. i've booked up again to go this year and i "CANT" wait. I would advise anyone to go on a holiday to Ibiza Es Cana. San Antonio has a reputation which is pretty hard to live up to, yet it keeps doing so. This was my fourth time there and I'm going back again. It is the perfect holiday for younger people, excellent weather, loads of bars, the best clubs in the world, all sorts of eateries. The clubs may be expensive, but they're worth it, they arent the same clubbing experiences as back here in Blighty! Food can found fairly cheap too, 5 euros for full english isnt bad! And dont forget to chill out properly in cafe del mar wathcing the sunset, before the fun really starts!Port des Torrent, Ibiza, Spain Great Place To Holiday In! Hi, we stayed in Port Torrent's 4 STAR-Serenis Seaview Country Club Hotel in Otc, 07. Unfortunately as it was the end of season, the weather was really miserable. However, it was a cheap holiday but I did expect to see the sun more than once lol. I can imagine what it would be like in high season though, plenty to do for both adults and children. Loads of family fun things to do. there are lots of clubs, bars and restruants and lots of shops too. It's easy to get around as port torrent isn't that big but it is big on entertainment! It's quite easy to get from one town to another as the buses run regularly and they are very reasonably priced. The people are friendly and helpful and if you want to chill out you can or if you want to party into the wee hours you can do so too.Ibiza, Spain Ibiza, Island of tranquiklity Rating: 8/10 Submitted by: John Date of travel: 01/07/2005
Forget clubbing, drunks, drugs etc the island is quiet between 9 am and 10pm they are all asleep and normal people can get around the island and enjoy the fantastic beaches, sights, sounds, food and the very friendly people.
Living is cheap, good eating is everywhere and the island is safe for families.
Give it a go but make sure your hotel is not near the night-life.Port des Torrent, Ibiza, Spain Lovely Resort! Rating: 8/10 Submitted by: Casey Date of travel: 10/09/2007
I really enjoyed Port des Torrent, Ibiza. It was a relaxing resort we stayed in, if we wanted a lively night out then we would head in to the town where all the bars and clubs are but that wasn't a regular thing. We enjoyed the bars that were in the resort and the hotel bar was ok too, live music and shows and happy hour every evening so we had everything we needed. There were 2 pools and a small Jacuzzi, pool bar and a snack bar, the beach was a 2 minute walk and the aqua park was a bus ride away. The resort had every shop you could think of, jewellery, clothes, off licence, tattoo parlour, supermarket and more and it was very reasonable too. Great food, mixture of choices and great people... Would love to go back…Ibiza - Other, Ibiza, Spain Go Ibiza Go Rating: 9/10 Submitted by: Toby Date of travel: 29/07/2007
When I announced that I was going to Spain everyone told me that I should try to take a trip to Ibiza. They said it was the ultimate party island and take my word for it, they were right. I had the time of my life on that island. It was even better because 6 of my best friends came with me. Music playing from sun up to sun down on the street, in the stores, at the bars, in the hotel, and of course in the bars. Wonderful, amazing, fabulous, phenomenal, fantastic thrilling time. The food was superb and the drinks even better. Surprising to me they had fun and loud hotels and quiet ones away from the main area. We opted to stay in the quiet area because people can party just so much. It was a little further out but was nice and inexpensive. From the moment we stepped off of the plane we felt the energy in the atmosphere. Pure fun and fantastic time. Amazing restaurants will food that woke up the taste buds. Plenty of places to shop for clothes and swimwear. And the beaches…the beaches…sweet beaches….party central. Lots of room to swim on the water and dance in the sand. Water sports, land games, food to eat, and all of the Sangria that you could possibly drink. GO Ibiza GO GO GOIbiza, Spain Sleep before you go Rating: 10/10 Submitted by: Timothy Date of travel: 12/08/2006
I would highly recommend that you get at least 10 hours of sleep a day a week before you go to Ibiza because you won’t be sleeping throughout your holiday in the party capital of the world. We literally spent all our time hopping form clubs to club and even from resort to resort only stopping for a few hours at the beach to catch some sun, this is the only way to do Ibiza, it will give you such a buzz and you will have no concept of time make sure you are able to take a few days to rest when you get back as you will need to adjust back to your regular routine. Es Cana was a nice and relaxing holiday. A typical holiday for me is to relax, have fun and be merry! The Hotel Miami is not what it sounds tbh, if you’re looking at the hotel head on you would think you’re in the rough end of Miami or LA, inside its clean but it's not like a palace. There is a small reception area, small bar and restaurant and a small sweets shop and the rest is the hotel rooms. I was happy though. The beach is a 10 minutes walk and the pool is not actually with in the hotel its self, its next to the hotel by it's self and any one can use it as well. The night life lived up to my expectations though, the bars were buzzing and the atmosphere was great, it was like Las Vegas, all the bars were lit up. The entire tourist was very friendly and outgoing and the locals were also very helpful and pleasant to talk to as well. It had that holiday feeling, it doesn’t have to be 5 star or 1st class service, it’s the friendly people and the great atmosphere what makes it a good holiday. Ibiza - Other, Ibiza, Spain Great holiday, top hotel... Rating: 8/10 Submitted by: Becky Date of travel: 16/09/2005
A group of us went to Talamanca in Ibiza, not far from Ibiza town. We were in the Hotel Argos, which was plush with marble floors etc. In fact we were very surprised that it was the quieter part of Ibiza we stay; we wanted rock n roll and night long. But we made the most of the experience though, if we stayed in Ibiza town itself we would have not got a nice hotel like the one we stayed in so we can't moan. We would go and sunbath on the beach which was 2 foot from the hotel anyway and there was some water sports, 5 of us on a pedal boat with a slide on the back, mad as! We would also have a boat race, at 2 miles an hour, my legs were killing! We also tried a bit of snorkeling but it gets boring after a while, only so much you can do. We took the ferry to Ibiza town in the evening so w could party, but it finishes as midnight so we either had to walk back at 3am in the morning or get the last ferry home. We had a good time, next time we will visit Ibiza town so we can party all day and night.Ibiza Town, Ibiza, Spain Evissa! Rating: 10/10 Submitted by: Mark Date of travel: 18/08/2006
This is where it's all happening, no matter at what time it is day or night there is a lively atmosphere all around the town. The nightlife is relentless with so many bars and clubs to hop around and enjoy the funky mix of music. You will meet people from all walks of life and that adds to the whole Ibiza experience. During the day if you have got the energy take a stroll around the town and admire the Dalt Vila which is a miniature town with a vast history. Don't forget to grab some souvenirs for your friends and family just to make them that much more jealous. Figueretas, Ibiza, Spain Value for money Rating: 7/10 Submitted by: jake Date of travel: 03/04/2005
This is a lovely resort where you can enjoy a nice and simple holiday in the sun with a lovely town lined with cafes and bars. The beach is wonderful not too crowded most of the time and you can take part in some water sports activities. Make sure you wander around for some really cool shopping where you can pick up some really novel souvenirs. S'Argamassa, Ibiza, Spain Bland Rating: 5/10 Submitted by: Samantha Date of travel: 18/03/2007
Probably one of the blandest resorts i have ever been to. If you are just looking for a clean beach with good weather and nothing else then S'Argamassa is perfect but don't hope for much more than that. The food is pretty good and the nightlife is pretty much non-existent. Santa Eulalia, Ibiza, Spain Tranquil vacation Rating: 8/10 Submitted by: Tina Date of travel: 07/09/2006
There are lovely long beaches in Santa Eulalia, the whole resorts seems surreal with its perfect beach, calm and clear blue sea and the extremely friendly people. The resort has got a lot of things to do like visiting the art galleries, Scenic tours around the town and some really good shopping. Santa Eulalia is the ideal holiday destination for a very relaxing holiday where everything slows down to your pace and you can enjoy the resort without being crowded out.San Antonio, Ibiza, Spain Wish i could go back! Watch out for San Antonio, it is a highly lively resort that is not for the feint hearted. With a whole host of fantastic clubs to keep you going all the way through to the early hours of the morning San Antonio boasts some of the hottest spots in Ibiza. One of my favourites was Eden and make sure you go to the water party which is really wild. There are so many other bars and clubs to choose form just hop around from one to the other to sample all the different styles. After you have been partying hard you need to re-charge before the next evening of fun so settle down at the beach and take a nap in the sun in front of the pristine blue water. There is a wide range of food choices form proper sit down restaurants that ooze class to the quick and easy option of fast food. Puerto San Miguel, Ibiza, Spain very romantic Rating: 9/10 Submitted by: lisa Date of travel: 14/08/2007
Not the ideal place for the young crowd but absolutely brilliant for a romantic holiday with your other half. There is a wonderful countryside surrounding the beach which gives the resort a nice contrasting view. The resort had a lot of kids playing on the beach so I gather that it is popular family destination as well. There are plenty of bars and restaurants to choose form and one restaurant that all sea food lovers must try is the Balansat where the fish is absolutely delicious. If you fancy a bit of a part than there are regular bus services that will take you to the more lively resorts of Ibiza Town and San Antonio.Portinatx, Ibiza, Spain The kids loved it Rating: 8/10 Submitted by: jenny Date of travel: 18/04/2006
Portinatx is a fantastic holiday resort but only if you are looking for a family vacation or a place to enjoy a relaxing break. There are so many fun things for families with games centres for that will have the kids playing for hours and there are some really fantastic views to be observed if you rent a car and drive around the town. There are a few bars to hang out at and the restaurants serve some great food. If you are looking for nice place to take the kids and also enjoy a good holiday yourself as well than there are few better places than PortinatxPort des Torrent, Ibiza, Spain stay here, play elswhere Rating: 7/10 Submitted by: Aftab Date of travel: 03/06/2007
Port des Torrent is a lovely resort and perfect for a relaxing with not too much hustle and bustle of some of the more party oriented resorts. I would highly recommend that even if you are looking for a clubbing holiday that go to Port des Torrent as it is the ideal place to relax during the day and then when its time to party you can start of with a few drinks in town and then head for the nearby party resort of San Antonio. The resort of Port des Torrent is not an action packed and activity based destination, it is more of a quite uneventful place which is ideal for chilling out in the sun and lounging on the beach.Playa den Bossa, Ibiza, Spain absolutely fantastic!!! Rating: 9/10 Submitted by: jason Date of travel: 14/08/2007
Being popular does have its disadvantages and Playa den Bossa is a very popular resort especially with the British. The overload of people during the peak months can make the resort a bit claustrophobic but, you will get past all that once you have been to Space, possibly the best club in world where you can party until dawn and it is one clubbing experience that you will never forget. Another great place that is a must if you visit Playa den Bossa is the Bora Bora beach bar and the best thing about it is that's its free to get in. So make sure you rest up on the beach during the day as the nights are more exciting there than the days.Es Cana, Ibiza, Spain all round fun Rating: 8/10 Submitted by: Jenifer Date of travel: 27/09/2006
If you are looking for your next holiday in the sun then make sure its Es Cana. If you are looking for a good night with a wide range of bars and clubs then Es Cana is one such place you will find all of that and more. You can relax on the beach during the day and charge your batteries up for an exciting night out to the local bars. If hoever you have got a family then Es Cana is also well equipped to entertain families with excellent child friendly facilities. If you go with the kids then invariably you will be spending the majority of your holiday on the beach which is okay because the beach is well supervised with life guards always on the watch so you can rest assured that your kids are in a safe environment. So no matter what you a are looking for Es Cana is ideal for your next holiday in the sun.Cala Llonga, Ibiza, Spain truely paradise Rating: 10/10 Submitted by: Jai Date of travel: 14/05/2006
Cala Llonga is quite possibly the closest you can get to paradise with smooth white sand and clear blue waters. The resort is one of the best spots for a family holiday, equipped with nice little amusement park for kids to enjoy and there are also some real nice restaurants and bars around the resort for the adults. Cala Llonga is very close to the resorts of Santa Eulalia and Ibiza town for excursions.Ibiza, Spain Party Time! Rating: 10/10 Submitted by: Craig Date of travel: 03/08/2007
I am here to tell everyone who loves to party to take the next flight out to Ibiza! It really is the clubbin' capital of the world. Dont expect to sleep when you go there as the parties just go on and on and on. It was the best graduation present ever (even though i bought the holiday myself)Ibiza - Other, Ibiza, Spain Rating: 6/10 Submitted by: Sam Date of travel: 03/04/2007
Never a dull moment on the Ibiza scene... I had a good time, but needed another holiday when I got back home. I did so much partying 2 last me a life time, I don't think I saw much of the day but all that matters is I had a top holiday... I would recommend Ibiza for all the party loving animals out there but not for the early night types! |
