Gocek is fabulous place to vacation with the family. We have three teens in the house and at times it is very hard to connect with them. In Gocek they had to stick with mum and dad because they had no where else to go. And do you know something'they had a great time and bonded with us without knowing. We five stayed in a family sized villa. The town was small so we as a family walked around it, ate together, and were able to reconnect. On the water I watched my children's faces ask they learned how to use the jets and have swimming contests in the sea. There were plenty restaurants on the coast and each night another person had chance to choose at which restaurant the family would eat. The Turkish antique and crafts shops were quite nice as well. At one craft shop we molded our clay into different shapes, baked it and then painted our new ceramics. We had big days of boat tours and excursions and at night we would sit along the shore and really chat together. Our villa had its own pool so we held BBQs and invited other villa guest. My youngest decided that this was our new home. |
