Just returned from a delightful 2 week break at the Tivoli Ocean Park. I could not fault this hotel in any way, staff were friendly and facilities exceptional. It’s located on the sea front on a bit of a slope and Funchal 'centre' is about a 40minute walk away, this may bother some but I quite enjoy the walk. The only negative was the noise; they’re doing construction either side of the hotel at the mo and it starts at 8am.Funchal, Madeira, Portugal Rating: 7/10

Me and my boyfriend stayed in the Madeira Palacio hotel overlooking the sea, the view was out of this world. The pool area was also beautiful with palm tree's all round and a small bar too. We wasn't far from Funchal's centre which was brilliant as I enjoy browsing round the capital and viewing the amazing buildings and culture. I enjoyed every minute of my stay in Funchal and would love to return with my family someday. |
