Me and my husband work very long hours and only get to spend 1 day off a week at home, so we decided to have a break and booked a last minute holiday to Troodos in Cyprus. We expected a beach holiday but we ended up at Churchill Pinewood Valley Hotel based in the mountains. I've never been to Cyprus before but everything I heard was fantastic and I was told that no matter where you booked you would have beautiful beachs close by. Ok, the peace and quiet was nice, the view was tremendous and you could actually see the ocean from the mountains but you had to walk for miles before you got to anywhere decent. It wasn't my ideal holiday, I would never book anything last minute again as you don't know where you will end up. But I do agree that the area and location was pretty but it's for the more adventurous person. |
