Clearwater beach in Clearwater, Florida has the clearest water in the entire state. I have lived in Florida for the last 5 years and have gone to almost all of the beaches but Clearwater is my favorite beach of all. The sand is not that annoying sand that is hard to walk on and bothers the feet but is soft, yet firm, and a lovely shade of white. The sun shines bright on the land and you can hear the live music from the most popular restaurant at almost all points of the beach. The water is absolutely amazing because it is warm and relaxing. You could simply lie down and sleep from comfort if it were not for the waves. On the strip that runs alongside the beach there are many family owned restaurants to choose from. Those were the best places in which to eat because they had the most reasonable prices and the best homemade food. The shops also had smart pricing. I got a dress for under $10 (?5). You can spend a few days well in Clearwater at the beach alone. To venture out you can visit Busch Gardens which is under an hour away. It is one of the best theme parks in Florida with animal and animal size rides. |
