There are not enough words in the English language to describe what an incredible time I had in C'an Picafort. There is some much to do and eat there that you never want to leave. C'an Picafort is located in North Mallorca not too far from Palma. The beach is clear and clean and is what you see anytime you catch an advertisement for the perfect beach vacation. There are umbrellas made from the leaves of trees and all of the lounge chairs along the beach are free to sit in. Our first dinner experience was Caf? Paris presided over by Wolfgang. It was a tad bit expensive but the superb food, live music and dancing made the cost well worth it. To travel and try new things we went to Rancho Grande where we went real horseback riding during the day. At night on the ranch we learned how to line dance, had dance parties and drank the best sangria (not too sweet or bitter just right). For dinner on the ranch there was a Barbeque, I can still taste the food. August was the best time to go because of all of the fiestas. We went to Ball de Bot (with traditional folk music and dance) and the outdoor 'supper.? The outdoor supper was hosted by DJ Monty who kept us all laughing and happy. We will definitely go back next summer. |
