Calis for holiday anyone? I went and had an astronomical time. It is a cool place to go. There I got to swim in the Mediterranean with all of the tropical fish. Boat tours were available everyday at any time before night. They offered hour trips or all day trips so I did both. Both had there great points and I will do them too. I thought it was the coolest thing that we could take safaris in Calis too. My thoughts initially were that only happened in the land of Africa or in the Forests of Brazil but no, we did them there. Very inexpensive and worth every inexpense. Outrageous animals were in touching distance. Speaking of animals there were sea turtle eggs on the beach and we saw baby turtles making their way to the water. We grabbed one and looked at up close. We then took it to the water where in automatically knew how to swim. Horse riding was my last encounter with the beloved animals and was the best thing. They are massive, friendly, and strong. How they are so graceful under my weight, the world may never know but they are. I lived it up during the night time in the clubs with cheap (but good cocktails) in my hand and party until the sun came up. Please do me a favor and ask yourselves if you have ever seen a true sunset. Now don’t to the typical thought pattern. You know the one that I am taking about, where you say of course. No… I would like you to really think about it. Because the point is you have not seen a true beautiful sunset unless you have seen it in Calis Turkey. Calis is notorious for having some of the most beautiful sunsets in world. The way the green mountains grow dark as the sun changes its position in the sky. The way the sky becomes multicolored…out of this world. Calis is not only known for the most fabulous sunsets ever, but my husband and I now know it as a prime holiday experience. It is right off of the Mediterranean coast and the waters are delightful. The hotels are even better with top staff, rooms, service, restaurants, and bars. There was some much given to us at the hotel that there were days that we chose to stay there and sleep and relax the day away. The beach is what got us out many days. It is long and narrow and has so much room that we never felt crowded. There were times that we saw a big family come and settle by us but all we had to do is move a few meters away and it was perfect away. Within stepping distance of the beach was the Aquacity Water Park. The park provided hours of watersports, slides, wading ponds and wave machines. Took the entire day to explore from wee hours of the morning to when it closes at night. Sundays I dragged the Mr. to the markets that have cheap prices like Camden but merchants much more spread out. Great selection of no name and designer brands. Great time but you must commit our entire morning. We did tons more in Calis but it would take ages to tell. If you go for anything, do go for the Sunset. |
