Fantastic resort, apparently there is some kind of confusion about whether it is in the Costa Brava but I say “who cares!” Costa Brava or not, Calella is absolutely fantastic and the beach is amazing. The nightlife is probably the main draw of Calella and it is very suitable for the younger crowd.Calella, Costa Brava, Spain Rating: 9/10

Perfect really, lots of tiny Spanish shops for clothes, etc, the whole town is near a beach, much more livelier than Pineda, at night there are about 10 different clubs to choose from including one which does a foam party, plenty of nice places to go out and eat, the place just seems to be alive, also near a train station for easy an easy link to Barcelona. |
