Bahia Feliz, Gran Canaria, Spain Reviews View Cheap Holidays To Bahia FelizBahia Feliz, Gran Canaria, Spain Rating: 8/10 Submitted by: Malissa Date of travel: 13/06/2007
Bahia Feliz is a cheerful resort with friendly people everywhere. One of the favourite parts of the holiday was the Jeep Safari trip into Gran Canaria, we explored the rocky, arid terrain of the south, or the more lush, fertile north. The whole resort is shaded with palm trees and there is water fountains on the streets, get ready for a soaking! The food is very tasty and very cheap too, and the beer is nice a cool, just how it should be. It was very easy to relax here; it was very homely and welcoming. The sand dunes are a perfect place to relax as well with the sea breeze keeping you cool. I love Bahia Feliz.Bahia Feliz, Gran Canaria, Spain Rating: 6/10 Submitted by: Stacey Date of travel: 16/08/2006
Bahia Feliz is fairly quiet but has amazing views. Using local transport such as buses is conveniant and quick to get to nearby resorts such as playa de ingles. The bus journey to porta reco takes a little while from Bahia feliz but is worth the journey as there are a lot of shops there, a lovely beach and a few english pubs.
The only down side to Bahia Feliz is the volcanic sand on the beaches (it is a dark grey colour) Apart from that my whole family had a very relaxing holiday.Bahia Feliz, Gran Canaria, Spain Special Times Rating: 7/10 Submitted by: April Date of travel: 21/09/2005
The resort of Bahia Feliz made our holiday special. It is charming because it is a representation of the Gran Canaria of the past while still offering all of the comforts of modern day. Our tour guide told us that the name translates to ?happy bay,? quite an accurate description. The resort was the host of dining in the shade of palm trees at bars and restaurants, and lounging around on the beach being lazy and taking pleasure in the breeze. My daughters learned how to wind-surf from the wind-surfing lessons that were held on the beach. We signed up right there and they were out on the water within minutes. We briefly went to check out Europe's biggest resort, Playa del Ingles. It was marvelous and we understood why it was so popular but it was pleasant to return back to our quiet spot. Bahia Feliz's flowers are beautiful and their scent floats in the air. Our family danced together to live music play by ordinary people in the warm soothing evening air. |
