I've been to Greece before but it was the first time for my girlfriend. We went to Alykes and stayed at the Villa Koukounaria. I and my girlfriend were very impressed. There was a games room with pool tables, fruit machines, table tennis and much more plus there was a large pool and a bar/restaurant with great food served all day long. The beach was just round the back from the hotel and resort so if you fancied wind surfing and a boat ride you knew where to go. The bars in the evening were great, we hit the Millennium Bar which was ok, not as good as the comments I?d been hearing and the Enigma Nightclub was brill, full of top dance music and the drinks were cheap too. Another bar we went to was the Wicky Wacky Bar which I thought was cool I have to admit. I would certainly go back and I would even stay in the same hotel as it was very clean and cosy plus very friendly..Alykes, Zante, Greece Cool Holiday Rating: 7/10

Alykes is a pleasant beach resort, tones of tourist and very busy. The beach was nice, nice green colour sea and very clear. There were flower beds across the beach wall, that was pretty. My hotel was very basic but clean and the staff were very nice as well. There was plenty of evening activities going on, I joined in one of the drinking parties, but I paid for it the next day though. There were also discos and beach parties and there were plenty of free shots going round. I enjoyed myself very much and would go back. |
