We stayed at this village as it offered us convenient access to the other resorts however, we soon noticed that the village itself was not a bad place to stay and do things. You will instantly notice the blue tiles all over the place which in some way relate to the life of some saint in the 1700?s well that?s what one of the locals told us. If you like to play a little of Golf than there are some real nice courses at Almancil. The village is especially renowned for its wonderful pottery which you might be able to bring back provided you are careful with it. |
