This town is very small and you can probably cover most of it in a day. There are lots of churches and historical stuff to see but not too much on the entertainment side. You will absolutely get freaked out by the Chapel of Bones where apparently the walls have got over a thousand skulls behind them. Alcantarilha is probably the perfect to stay and enjoy the local town for a while making a firm base and then head out to the other resorts form there for some of the more physical activities. |
