Only go to Agadir if you want to spend the majority of your time at the beach because that is one thing that is really good there. There are a few attractions in terms of things to do but there is not much of nightlife so you will have to make do with the entertainment provided by the Hotels which is not as bad as it sounds but don’t expect a vibrant party atmosphere. Agadir, Morocco A nice enough hotel. Rating: 6/10

Stayed in the Amadil Beach Hotel was ok for the price we paid but I’m not sure I’d go back. It’s located on the beachfront, approximately 10 minutes walk from the main strip. The ‘old’ Agadir was destroyed in an earthquake in 1960 and there’s literally nothing left. However, if you like a beach-based holiday then you won’t be disappointed plus there are plenty of water sports on offer. Agadir, Morocco Rating: 7/10

The town has a handful of sights - there's a mini train tour through town, the ruins of the old Kasbah, the market and the new fishing port. But a week here is definitely enough!! |
