I like a holiday with great scenery and culture and Afitos, Halkidiki was spot on. I enjoyed a walk through the old villages and cobbled streets, the old building were superb, very well looked after and the village was very clean. The beach had mountains all the way round the coast, the view was jaw dropping. This is what Greece is all about, the historic features and its past life. My hotel was based in the centre of Afitos which I truly enjoyed. There was small cafe's, bars, shops and restaurants all knitted closely together. It was amazing and cosy looking, you felt comfortable and at home. I also discovered the semi-secret cove which was a top feature and an amazing experience to see. I recommend you to visit Afitos, you will not be disappointed. |
