The internet is helping to promote the virtues of the country's offerings online including accommodation, activities and transportation in the South American country, it reports.
Travellers can take Cosmos holidays in Mexico and can use the internet to look further into the hidden gems on offer there.
Carlos Behnsen, chief marketing officer of the Mexico Tourism Board, commented: "We recognize the importance of the internet as the preferred channel for booking travel among a majority of consumers, especially in North America and Europe."
Mr Behnsen also urged travellers to go to the country in order to experience the "natural beauty and rich cultural heritage Mexico has to offer".
Mexico has a diverse number of areas on offer to tourists all providing diverse holidays including the coral reefs of the Yucatan Peninsula, the luxurious beaches of the Pacific Coast and the world-class golf courses of the Baja California Peninsula.
