Dubai NewsDubai could be top spot for "savvy" Brits Dubai | 17th of April 2008 | Read or post comments (0) From Dubai News in Destination News British holidaymakers are being advised to "look outside the traditional eurozone" when selecting a holiday destination for 2008.
According to Travelex.co.uk, by looking at locations such as Dubai and Morocco, holidaymakers could make their money go further.
The comment comes after a press release by the Post Office this April revealed that the pound sterling is worth almost 17 per cent less against the Euro than it was this time in 2007.
Additionally, the sterling is up by 11.5 per cent against the United Arad Emirates dirham along with several other holiday destinations.
"As is usual across the industry, prices are determined well in advance, although supply, demand and exchange rates do of course play a role in our pricing structure," Alan Pugh, head of planning and trading at Thomsonfly, commented.
Holidaymakers wanting to make the most of the pound's strength against the UAE dirham may wish to book a holiday break to Dubai.
