There was an increase of seven to eight per cent in the number of tourists in 2007.
With the high season ending, prices are now up to 20 per cent lower and cheap holidays will be available throughout September and October.
Sunny Beach is increasingly popular with British tourists, attracted by the beautiful beach, great value accommodation, nightlife and low cost of alcohol, which can be as little as one euro for a beer.
As its name implies, Sunny Beach enjoys warm sunshine from May to October and the eight kilometer beach has been awarded the prestigious Blue Flag International symbol for cleanliness, safety and environmental sustainability.
For sporty types, there are endless opportunities for surfing, water skiing, hang-gliding, sailing, tennis and golf, to name just a few.
